SENS, the first company in its industry to achieve ISO 9001 certification, passed its 20th annual third-party ISO quality audit in June. SENS passed this audit with zero findings and zero negative observations.
This non-event is newsworthy because most SENS competitors have never bothered to undergo third-party quality audits. According to SENS president Bill Kaewert, “internal and third-party audits are time-consuming and tough, but we continue with them because they are a great way to identify opportunities to improve toward our goal of zero defects that mission-critical customers expect.” Learn more about quality at SENS and ISO 9001 here.
In similar news, SENS has for several years has enjoyed completely clean quarterly surprise quality inspections by Underwriters’ Laboratories (UL). Unlike many of its competitors who have moved away from UL, SENS has embraced UL’s exceptionally stringent interpretation of safety standards. Customers benefit by gaining additional peace of mind that SENS products meet the highest possible standards of safety. Many engineers and AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) strongly prefer UL listing over other NRTL (Nationally Recognized Test Labs) listings such as CSA or ETL.
